Information about cookies

The service uses cookies.

Cookies (so-called „little cakes”) are data files, in particular text files, that are stored in the end-user device of the service and are intended for use with the service's websites. Cookies typically contain the name of the website from which they originate, the time they are stored on the end device, and a unique number.

The entity that places cookies on the user's end device and accesses them is the website operator.

Cookies are used for the following purposes:

  • creating statistics that help understand how website users interact with web pages, which allows for improving their structure and content;
  • maintaining the user's session on the website (after logging in), so that the user does not have to re-enter their username and password on every page of the website;
  • user profiling for displaying personalized content on ad networks, particularly the Google network.

The service uses two main types of cookies: „session cookies” and „persistent cookies”. „Session cookies” are temporary files that are stored on the user's end device until they log out, leave the website, or turn off the software (web browser). „Persistent cookies” are stored on the user's end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted by the user.

Cookies placed on the user's end device may also be used by advertisers and partners cooperating with the service operator.

Web browsing software (web browser) usually allows the storage of cookies on the user's end device by default. Users of the website can change the settings in this regard. The web browser allows the deletion of cookies. It is also possible to automatically block cookies. Detailed information on this subject can be found in the help or documentation of the web browser.

It is recommended to read the privacy policies of these companies to learn about the rules for using cookies for statistics: Google Analytics Privacy Policy

Cookies may be used by advertising networks, particularly the Google network, to display ads tailored to how the user navigates the website. To do this, they may store information about the user's navigation path or the time spent on a particular page.

How do I turn off cookies?

The PODAĆ DANE service uses cookies. If the user does not want to download these files, they must change their browser settings (information below).

If the user does not want to receive cookies, they must change their browser settings.

We reserve the right to state that disabling cookies necessary for authentication, security, and maintaining user preferences may hinder, and in extreme cases, prevent the use of the website.

Regarding information on user preferences collected by the Google advertising network, users can view and edit information derived from cookies using the tool at https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/
