Cryolipolysis is one of the most modern achievements in aesthetic medicine when it comes to fat tissue removal and body sculpting. Many even indicate that cryolipolysis is more effective than the still popular, but invasive, liposuction. It is therefore not surprising that cryolipolysis devices are very popular in cosmetic clinics – it is a safe, relatively painless method, and the effects are visible after the first treatment.
Cryolipolysis works by utilizing the fact that fat cells are much more susceptible to cold than, for example, skin tissue. Since they break down at temperatures just below 0 degrees Celsius, cooling them causes a permanent reduction in fatty tissue. Therefore, cryolipolysis treatments can simply be called fat freezing.
The interaction of low temperatures with fat cells causes the crystallization of the lipids that make them up. Then, as they are no longer fulfilling their function, they are removed from the tissue and expelled from the body through the lymphatic system.
The equipment is covered by a two-year warranty.
